Cherry Maraschino is the dangerous alter ego of our founder Ryan Rosewall and the namesake of Maraschino’s of Hollywood.
One evening at a jazz club many moons ago, Rosewall was asked to join a troop of go-go dancers. All the girls were “dishes” and had a stage name to match. Somehow, not one of the girls had chosen anything sweet. Of course she was a classic "Shirley Temple, extra cherries" type of girl, so she instantly came up with Cherry Maraschino.
Under the white hot spotlight, the ultimate femme fatale was born. For one night only, Cherry commanded the energy of every last person in the room, while staying resolutely in the feminine. She never felt more powerful than in that moment.
Still, she decided to hang up her red patent Pleasers the very next day. Cherry Maraschino was dead.
Now, years later, Cherry is back. She has taken a new form, harnessing one of the most powerful weapons in a woman’s arsenal: the art of seduction. Beauty is as equally dangerous to the predator as it is to its prey. But in Maraschino’s Hollywood, you’re the dangerous one.
